"Great location, easy parking"

5 of 5
Great location, easy parking and public transportation available. The apartment was perfect with comfortable beds at the end of our days of hiking in the mountains.

"everything you could need to enjoy downtown as well as the resort"

5 of 5
Michael had a quaint little condo that provides everything you could need to enjoy downtown as well as the resort. The shuttle is right outside the condo and it takes you right to the base of Breckenridge as well as many other stops in town.

Manager Response:

Thank you for the review, Hayden! We love hearing about guest experiences!

"Good Value Property"

4 of 5
This was perfect for our four person family. One queen and two twins worked well. Plenty of room for a pack and play too if needed. Quiet property. Beds were fairly comfortable. Unit was clean.

"Breckenridge Trip"

5 of 5
In early June my friends and I rented a condo in Mark IX and it was a great experience. We got the condo for a great price and the location couldn't have been any better. We used the hot tub every night and the condo had everything besides the groceries!

"enjoyable"

We brought our bikes for a fall vacation and it worked out very well. Town was close and we had a choice of bike, bus, car, or walking. Service was good - everything was clean and there were enough pots and pans and plates since we did our own cooking. There is a great French bakery in town (La Francaise) for fresh bread and pastries. The condo was comfortable, although not fancy. Our favorite amenity was the fireplace -- there was lots of firewood and it is a nice set-up.

"A nice, quiet place to stay."

4 of 5
One of the great things about staying at Mark IX Condominiums is no pressure to attend a Time Share sales pitch meeting - because they don't do them. It's an older place so units are small compared to newer developments. But it was very comfortable, well provisioned with dishes, appliances, furniture, etc. and most importantly, it was very quiet. Perfect place to stay if you are not a party animal and if you don't require or use all the trappings of the large resorts - great for us.

"Relaxing"

3 of 5
We came during 'Mud Season', to take 'personal down time'. We found the area calm, relaxing- Beautiful The people very friednly..The small condo was just enough to take care of us. Easy enough to shop and have our own food (which was a biggie trying to get back to a normal sort of diet) Listening to the 'springtime' wildlife at night- amazing! It is high up there though, we are from the mountains in UT and found a few times each day it was- 'take an extra breath' type of 'high'.. Be prepared for that when you go to Breckenridge.

"Beautiful Retreat!"

We really enjoyed the condo in Breckenridge. The close proximity to town and the mountain scenery made it the perfect place to stay. We would go back again!

"Great for families on a budget"

4 of 5
We decided on this one by price, and were happy about the floorplan. Anyone with kids doesn't want to have to go to bed at 8 or 9 because of a hotel room situation. This has not one, but 2 bedrooms and a kitchen, so the kids don't have to sit still in an expensive restaurant every meal. I wish there was a better view, needs updated furniture. It was small, but clean, comfy beds and just right for 4 for a weekend. Need that wall so we can have our own spaces, and we got it! Been to Breck many times and had never seen this neighborhood. 5 min. drive to town, but there was bus service every 30 minutes. Great for folks who don't want to pay $350/night.

"Breck on a Budget"

3 of 5
The condo was in a good location. It was smaller than expected, and slept four comfortably but was quite a stretch to say 6 especially since there was only one small bathroom. The bathroom was dirty when we arrived but the staff was very responsive about coming out and cleaning. I was disappointed that the kitchen drawers were broken (sliders), and the things that would cost minimal to replace (like dish towels, pot holders, maybe one good paring knife etc) were just old and worn out. The kitchen table had 4 seats and we had 4 adults and 2 small children under 5 so it was difficult for everyone to eat together, The couch was ancient and dirty. The hot tub had a scum layer in it and the jets did not work. Overall, the condo was much below what we are used to renting from our timeshare, but again, a good coat of paint on the kitchen cabinets, fix the drawers and update amenities would add a lot.

"Very comfortable and quiet. "

I always enjoy my visits to Mark 1X in Breckenridge, CO. It is clean, centrally located, minutes to town, with town shuttle stop in front, and the location is very quiet. There is a hot tub, but no pool, and there are stairs to access the units, and no elevator. Some outside areas need painting, which they are planning on, but this does not interfere with an enjoyable stay.Mark 1X has all the amenities for cooking; standard size refrigerator; dishwasher; microwave, stove and oven; coffee maker; toaster, and all utensils; pans; dishes, bowls; plates; cups and glasses. I had a wonderful week there, and go as often as we can.

"Great location"

4 of 5

This place has a perfect location. It's a 15 min walk to Main Street but there's a shuttle right down the street that takes you to the ski resort and Main Street. The room is a little outdated but it's perfect for what we needed. The kitchen had all the utensils needed. I just wish there were TVs in the bedroom instead of just the living room. Other than that it's a great place to stay

"Great service, friendly people, but the property is old and needs maintainance."

3 of 5

The living unit I stayed in was clean, well supplied, quiet. It appeared to have been heavily used and could use some paint, inside and out. The carpets needed a good commercial grade cleaning.

Manager Response:

Thanks for your reply. You caught us at the end of a busy summer season when we catch up on the items you described. I hope you come back to see Mark IX in top shape!

"Adequate lodgings if you ski most of the time and just use as a"

3 of 5

Accommodations were adequate. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you'd need to cook. It provided all the essentials but definitely was not luxurious at all. Apartment and furnishings were worn but clean. Front desk attendant was very friendly and knowledgeable. Easy access to town and slopes by free shuttle. (could walk to town- approx 1 mile). Good place to stay if you spend most of the time on the slopes and just want a place to shower and sleep.
